The raw material is not heated, in order to preserve the active ingredients. It is stored in various refrigerated tanks and undergoes a series of filtration stages, notably to eliminate the undesirable and regulated component aloin.
All of these operations are performed in accordance with the latest standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) for food products and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) for cosmetics.
Our microbiology & physico-chemical laboratories perform quality analyses at every stage in the manufacturing process.
All of our finished products are certified both for food (in accordance with the AB charter) and cosmetics, with the exception of our Aloe Arborescens juice, which is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides or any other chemical substances (soon to be certified organic).
Our products are not manufactured from concentrated powder, meaning that they are LIVING formulas and therefore guaranteed to be effective.
We use only organic and fairly traded aloe pulp to manufacture our products rather than dehydrated aloe powder, as is usually the case.
Our products bear our ‘Native Aloe’ logo.
We add a high proportion of our native aloe to our finished products, with our cosmetics, for example, containing at least 32% and up to 98% organic and fairly traded aloe!
Our aloe processing facility is the only one of its kind in France and we control every aspect of the chain, from source to finished product.
In order to advance research into the use of native aloe, Ciel d’Azur Labs is working in conjunction with various universities for the purposes of researching and developing technical means of maintaining as many of the properties of the original plant as possible.
All our cosmetics are made in our laboratories from aloe vera gel rather than powder.
They contain 30-98% aloe and are SULPHATE-FREE and PALM OIL-FREE!
